I support the HR policies proposed by staff. They reflect our commitment to protecting the right to work in an environment free of all forms of harassment and discrimination, and to prevent workplace violence. As we put these policies in place, I look forward to hearing about plans for training in these standards of conduct including building the skills which are key to creating a safe workplace and a culture where people can thrive and reach their full potential. I also hope that in the future we will consider how we might require that those we partner with also adopt these basic workplace policies.
